Residents of Red Hill and the Mornington Peninsula have known for years that its wine & produce are among the best that Australia has to offer. It is then of no surprise that when former U.S President Barack Obama recently visited Victoria as part of his speaking tour, he decided to make a detour to the Mornington Peninsula to savour its delights.
Mr Obama selected the fantastic Pt. Leo Estate restaurant Laura's for lunch where he and his team dined out on Laura's sumptuous signature menu without interrupting fellow diners, but I'm sure his visit raised a few eyebrows and caused a few double takes among the guests.
